Hello!

I’m Morgan Harris

and I am a Product Designer.

I am part self taught, learned on the job and part university trained. I have an insatiable curiosity and will always be learning and improving. When I design, I start by planning out the content and information architecture of the project. After that, I sketch wireframes then design mockups using those wireframes.

Feel free to check out my work below, learn more about me or get in touch!

What I've Done

An app design project for an early-stage startup. This was a long term project where I learned a lot about product design, working with others on a team and startup life. I worked on this app for the full life cycle from the concept to sending the completed designs off to the developers. This project included: research, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user testing and everything in-between.

An app design project that I created during a one week designathon with Avocademy. I started working with a partner, but finished the week on my own. This project included: initial research/survey, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user testing and a presentation.

Along with the LuxLife app design, I also designed two websites to promote the app. I designed and built one of them in WordPress. The other one I designed and sent along to the developers. These projects included: research, wireframes, mockups and WordPress usage.

Other content that I created while working on the LuxLife app. Since LuxLife was such an early-stage startup, there were only a couple of designers on the team. This meant that us product designers needed to take on the role of graphic designers some of the time. These projects included: research, wireframes and mockups.

An app design project that I created during Google’s UX Certification. This was a start to finish UX project. I completed this on my own, following along with the Google course. This project included: research, wireframes, mockups, prototypes and user testing.
